Hi All,
I've been asked to put together a workshop for faculty on diversity and inclusion in the classroom. I have discretion over the content, but it should include both the themes that one would include in a diversity workshop at any organization (e.g., surface-level characteristics), as well as those that are more specific to academe (e.g., cultural differences in class participation and perceptions of what constitutes cheating). If you know of any exercises, film clips, role plays, etc., that would be suitable for this audience (and/or syllabi or learning points, if any of you have already done something similar), I'd really appreciate your sharing them with me. I'll post a summary of responses.
Thanks,
Caren Goldberg
