  • 1.  Academy Symposium on Discrimination at Work

    Posted 12-04-2008 13:20
    Dear Colleagues:

I am interested in putting together an Academy symposium on discrimination at work. I currently have two papers for inclusion - one examining the influence of sexual harassment policies on employee attitudes and one examining the effects of diversity policies on discrimination - and am interested in including 1-2 additional papers. If you have a work-in-progress that might fit, are interested in participating, and have not yet reached the "Rule of Three", please contact me with a brief description of your study.

  • 2.  Academy Symposium on Discrimination at Work

    Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to thank everyone for their quick responses to my email. Based on the amount of research on discrimination from a variety of perspectives, I've decided to narrow the focus of the symposium to papers exploring discrimination from a policy/practice perspective. However, I would encourage those studying people's experiences with and/or perceptions of discrimination to reach-out to others on the GDO listserv who are doing similar work. Given the responses I've received, there is the possibility for a number of interesting symposia.

    Best,
    Quinetta
