Colleagues,
I hope your semester has gotten off to a great start.
I would like to personally invite you to attend the Second Annual Research Forum to be held Friday and Saturday, October 9-10, 2009 during the National Society of Hispanic MBA's Conference and Career Expo in Minneapolis/St. Paul at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Attendees of the Research Forum are also invited to attend the Executive Forum Reception on Thursday evening, October 8th. Last year's forum was quite interactive and enjoyable and we were pleasantly surprised to find that several executives attending the NSHMBA conference joined the forum -- and the discussion among all of us was enlightening. Each year we have a 'best presentation' award and last year's award went to Douglas Johnson.
I am able to offer all faculty and doctoral students complimentary registration. This registration gives you access to the entire conference which includes a day of professional development on Thursday, Executive Reception on Thursday night, the Career Expo on Friday and Saturday, and our very special Brillante Awards dinner and reception on Saturday night. Includes meals each day as well as assorted company receptions. Last year we had over 8000 attendees at the conference/career expo and about 30 at the Research Forum. Attendees come from al ethnic groups. It is a good opportunity to network with lots of Fortune 1000 companies for possible data collection.
Please let me know if you would like to attend and I will connect you with the right person to ensure you receive complimentary VIP registration. The research forum i sponsored by the Business Journal of Hispanic Research and Rob DelCampo [University of New Mexico] and Douglas Johnson [Georgia Gwinnett College]
Below is an outline of the research forum activities and times associated with each, as well as a list of presentations. Please let me know if you have any questions at all.
