Subject: Greetings from CEEMAN
Dear Friends,
In August 2011 I had a pleasure to participate and present in the AoM 2011 Annual Meeting in San Antonio. At the occasion I visited also the stand of the Gender & Diversity in Organizations Division, where I had a privilege to learn more on your Domain Statement and related.
While being impressed about the purpose and objectives of the Division, I also felt that you might be interested to learn more about CEEMAN, our global association of 200 members from 50 countries, and consider possibilities for exchanging information regarding our respective activities and programs, and hopefully also initiating and developing various forms of collaboration. More about CEEMAN you can find on our home page at: www.ceeman.org, while I am attaching to this message brief summary of our main programs and activities.
I am using the opportunity to provide you with more information on two of our projects that you might find of interest and inform members of your community.
The ongoing CEEMAN/PRME Global Survey on The Issue of Poverty in Management Education has already received submissions from 54 countries from all continents. Following requests received from different parts of the world, the survey questionnaire was translated also in several languages and is now available at: Survey Questionnaire A wider participation will enable regional clustering of the survey results, as well as a broader intra-regional and international collaboration on fighting poverty through management education. The results of the survey (WG Report on Fighting Poverty through Management Education: Challenges, Opportunities and Solutions, and the Collection of Best Practices and Inspirational Solutions) will be presented at the 3rd PRME Global Forum in June 2012 in Rio.
The CEEMAN's International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA), a unique faculty development program for a new generation of management educators for the new generation of business leaders, which has already educated 415 management faculty from 126 institutions from 34 countries around the globe, will for the first time include also a new disciplinary track on Business Ethics, CSR and Sustainable Development. For the13th edition of IMTA 2012, scheduled for 10-22 June 2012, CEEMAN will provide special scholarships for participants from Africa and Latin America.
With best wishes and kindest regards,
Milenko
