The colloquy will focus on:
- Emergence of jobs and missions within HR function in charge of Diversity (EDD :
Equality, Discrimination and Diversity), managerial practices of EDD, charts EDD
and social negotiations involved in competency management development and non
discrimination policies, fight against discrimination and inequalities in terms of
payment, career and training opportunities.
- Ethnic or communitarian marketing, diversity of sales forces
- Links between EDD and main strategy, sustainable development, social
responsibility and ethics in organizations
- The measurement of EDD policies and social investments in the field, impact of
their implementation on performance
- Empirical analysis on a particular issue, of discrimination that focus on employees'
representation and other organizational actors' representations towards the EDD
practices (Trade Unions, mainly)
- External contribution to research from Jurisprudence on anti-discrimination
policies and preventing stereotyping tools at workplace
We would like to invite all our research fellows to submit a contribution that will guarantee
the free open-minded debate. We will be honoured to welcome papers, and theme proposals.
The second day of the colloquy will be carried out along with the AFMD (Association
française des Managers de la Diversité), and we will welcome companies' representatives':
HR directors, and CEO(s). The objective is to encourage exchange and propose solutions and
actual recommendations of operational tools for better understanding of diversity. We will be
proposing some of the researchers to present their outcomes on Dec 3rd.
