Term Faculty, Management (School of Business)
The George Mason University, School of Business has an immediate opportunity for one or two Term Faculty appointments for qualified individuals to teach Organizational Behavior/Human Resources (OB/HR) starting August 2014. The initial appointments will be for one academic year, with a potential opportunity for renewal. Fall semester classes begin August 25, 2014.
Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities of the position include teaching various OB/HR courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs; as well as service to the Management Area, the school, and the university. The normal teaching load is four courses for each semester (fall and spring).
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have at least a graduate degree (i.e., M.S.) in OB/HR or some other area related to their teaching responsibilities. A Ph.D. is preferred but not required. Preference will also be given to candidates with teaching experience and those candidates with significant professional practice experience in a management area. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
