Hi all:

Does anyone know a good source for statistics on women in managerial/leadership positions in the U.S.?  Basically, I need stats to support my argument that there is a gender imbalance in such positions because someone with whom I'm interacting in an on-line forum is implying that this is not the case!

And Catalyst always does a good job of compiling stats on women and work.

Hi Lynn,

It may not directly answer your question but you may find the answer in the Catalyst website (http://www.catalyst.org). They have a link to research reports and they may have collected these statistics. I know they have a link on their homepage ("Metrics") that has a list of Women CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. Hope this helps!
