Dear GDO Members
I just wanted to bring to you attention an article that now available in print that I'm quite excited about. The article is a collaboration between a social scientist (myself) and a physical scientist (Graeme Pearman) where we try to identify a social science research agenda for climate change as well as argue for the need for the sciences to work together in solving wicked problems, such as climate change. As GDO members, you will be particularly interested in the diversity and equity issues posed by climate change, a number of which are detailed in the monograph.
The article is available free on the Journal of Management & Organizations (JMO) website. If you go to the URL below and scroll down you will see it under the heading Free Sample Articles.

Pearman, G. I. & Härtel, C. E. J. (2010) Understanding and responding to the climate change issue: Towards a whole-of-science research agenda. Journal of Management and Organization, 16(1): 16-47.
I hope you'll have a look at the article and share news of any recent work dealing with climate change and similar issues that by nature
are complex and holistic.
Cheers
Charmine
