    Colleagues (apologies for cross-postings),

    For those in business schools, I'm hoping some of you will be kind enough to share your institution's means for assessing the contribution of a highly-ranked (SSCI) journal that falls outside of the realm of business -- i.e., what do you do when someone publishes in a high quality journal that isn't on your school's list (if you have a list).

    For those outside of business schools, can you tell me how you'd evaluate Psychology of Women Quarterly?  I know journal lists are more of a b-school thing, so if you don't have a list, how do you determine what should be considered an "A" journal?
