    Dear GDO Colleagues:

I was browsing through the website for the University of Pittsburgh, and I ran across some really good news about one of the Gender and Diversity in Organizations Division members, Audrey Murrell.  I'm afraid that Audrey is too modest to tell you about her award herself, but I like to be the bearer of good tidings!  So here it is.

Dr. Audrey Murrell received the Education Excellence Award from the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Black MBA Association for outstanding achievement in scholarly research and published work. The award was presented to her by Dean John Delaney from the Katz Business School (University of Pittsburgh), who was there to also accept the legacy and education partner award for the key role played by the Katz Business School in providing scholarships for diverse MBA students.  The awards were presented at the annual scholarship and recognitiona gala on October 9, 2010.

Please join me in congratulating Audrey on receiving this award!  It seems that the Katz School is supportive of her work, as well--always a good thing to know!  --  Gayle
