    Dear GDO Colleagues,

I am currently in the process of collecting data for my Master's
Thesis on workplace diversity, as a part of my doctoral program at
Portland State University. If you work at least 20 hours a week, or
have in the past six months, would you consider taking my survey?

I have developed and am hoping to validate a survey that will
thoroughly assess diversity within the workplace. By taking the
survey, you are furthering the academic study of workplace diversity
and aiding the development of a practical diagnostic tool for
    organizations.

Please note, the online survey takes about 20 minutes to complete, and
the system logs you out permanently after a few hours, so please set
aside 20 minutes to complete it in one sitting. Because this survey
asks questions about the workplace, to reduce risk and protect
confidentiality, please do not complete this survey at work.

You may begin the survey by using the link below.

Please follow this link to the survey:
    http://portlandstate.qualtrics.com//SE/?SID=SV_09FegVKfJsRrdVa

Please complete the survey by Tuesday, February 8, if possible. I will
continue collecting data until I reach my goal, so if you cannot
complete it by this date, that is okay. Please complete it as soon as
    you are able.

I am using the snowball technique of data collection, so if you would
consider sending this email to friends or family who fit the
requirements of this study (people who work at least 20 hours per
week, or have in the past 6 months), that would be great.

After the data is analyzed, I will send participants who provide an
email a follow-up summary of the significant findings of the study.
Participation is voluntary, and information regarding informed consent
is included in the beginning of the survey. Your time is very helpful
    and greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!
    Aisha
