    Dear Colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming deadline for the submission of topics and symposia of 3 July 2018.

The EURAM 2019 Conference will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on 26, 27 and 28 June.

Our conference theme is "Exploring the Future of Management: Facts, Fashion and Fado". The last few years have been marked by several migration movements that not only transform and enrich the human landscape of many countries but appear to be a long-lasting trend. How to qualify and integrate these migrants in the workplace? How to manage an increasingly diverse and multicultural workforce?  Couple this with the challenge of robotisation and scholars will have multiple reasons for wanting to continue their mission of probing into and exploring the future. Management is about doing things through people. Who are these new people? The behaviour of organisations vis-à-vis the society is increasingly scrutinised and its impact cannot be ignored. Help making EURAM 2019 a forum where new propositions and answers will be debated, where new theories will be exposed to address the many problems that challenge organisations and their management.

We are pleased to invite you to collaborate in the programme building by proposing topics for discussion and symposia for the 19th EURAM Annual Conference. Do not hesitate to contact the relevant Special Interest Groups (SIGs) chairs by email. Information about the SIGs can be found here.

    Call for Topics

Topics are considered relevant research questions, themes, issues, problems or aspects to be included in the general programme of the conference (i.e. configuring the parallel sessions of the different Strategic Interest Groups [SIGs] of EURAM).

Click here for more information on how to submit a topic proposal. Proposals are to be submitted via the Topic Submission online platform.

In the system you will be asked to fill in the proposal, so please use the fields checklist to prepare your proposal before online submission.

    Call for Symposia

Symposia are discrete sessions around a specific topic or problem that:

    a) Engage a group of panellists in a formal interactive discussion,
    b) Encourage lively discussion and presentation of alternative views,
    c) Attract the interest of a sufficient number of scholars,
    d) Engage with issues that cut across existing SIGs, and
    e) Can be accomplished in a 90min window.

Click here for more information on how to submit a symposium proposal. Proposals are to be submitted via the Symposium Submission online platform.

In the system you will be asked to fill in the proposal, so please use the fields checklist to prepare your proposal before online submission.
