JOB Announcement – Systemwide Director of Organizational Psychology, CSPP at Alliant International University, California.

Alliant International University is seeking a Systemwide Director of Organizational Psychology  for the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP).  This person will be central to academic planning, to faculty recruitment, retention, and development, and to budget management and oversight, as well as to the quality of organizational psychology students' academic experience on each of five campuses (San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, and Fresno). The Systemwide Director is an integral part of the school's leadership team and works closely with the Dean in managing, monitoring and shaping new directions for the organizational psychology program.

The organizational psychology program at CSPP has graduated roughly 1150 alums with doctorates or masters degrees since it began in 1989.  The program has approximately 20 faculty members who are experienced practitioners and published scholars, and coursework involves considerable supervised fieldwork in addition to content knowledge and training in research.  It has been transitioning over the past few years from a decentralized model to a more centralized program, and the new director will lead the integration.

The successful candidate will be a nationally known organizational scholar, familiar with national trends and new developments, and committed to developing the program and making CSPP a national and international leader in organizational psychology. S/he will have significant leadership experience, exhibit the highest professional standards (including APA's guidelines for working with diverse groups) and ethical principles, will be committed to the tenets of Alliant International University's mission, vision, and four strategic pillars (education for professional practice, scholarship, international and multicultural competencies (I-MERIT), and community engagement).
