    Announcement of Eugene M. Isenberg Professorship for Innovation and
    Entrepreneurship
    Isenberg School of Management

    The Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts
    Amherst invites nominations and applications for the Eugene M.
    Isenberg Professorship for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a
    tenure-track position at the Professor rank to start in September
    2011. We are seeking an energetic leader motivated to work with
    faculty and students across disciplines to provide leadership for
    Isenberg and University ventures. Candidates are required to have a
    PhD and substantial expertise and research in innovation and
    entrepreneurship.

    Qualifications:

    ? Candidates should show documented evidence of quality teaching at
    both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as evidence of PhD
    student involvement.
    ? Further, candidates should show evidence of publishing in the
    premier outlets of their respective disciplines as well as editorial
    board and editorship activity.
    ? Candidates with leadership experience related to interdisciplinary
    research efforts and significant roles interacting with University and
    corporate stakeholders are strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities:
    ? Participate in entrepreneurship ventures in the Isenberg School
    andthe University.
    ? Teach and do research in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship.
    ? Facilitate and/or lead faculty groups interested in this or allied research.

    The Isenberg School of Management is AACSB accredited, and part of a
    vibrant and growing leading public research university. The campus is
    also a member of the Five College Consortium and collaborates with
    Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke and Smith College on many
    initiatives and projects, and Amherst was recently touted as the
    number one college townin the United States.
