Dear GDO Friends and Colleagues,
Please find attached GDO program highlights that may be of particular relevance to our GDO members with international inclinations.
In addition, the GDO International Committee invites each one of you to participate in (at least) 3 networking opportunities:
1. Submit a PPT slide about yourself, that we will screen with others during social events! Create 1 slide with your name, where you work, where you are from, research interests, a personal detail, your contact information, and a photograph. Participation is, of course, voluntarily. Send your slide preferably by August 1 to: david.dwertmann@rutgers.edu (same address to request sample slide.)
2. Wear a national flag or more! We invite you to self-identify your national research interests or origins by adding country flag stickers to your AOM name tag. You may pick up your country flag stickers at the Friday and Monday morning GDO social events.
3. Get Involved! Attend the GDO Division Business Meeting to find out how you can get more involved with the GDO division. Monday, 6 – 7:30 pm, Pinnacle Harbourfront Ballroom I. (Ok, this is not – technically – a networking event, but nevertheless an exceptional opportunity to become better connected to the division across geographic boundaries!)
