Dear colleagues,
You are invited to submit your papers to:
EURAM
: TRACK 28: Migration, Equality, and Diversity: Toward Change in Organizations and Societies
The aim of this track is to advance contemporary thinking in the discipline of equality and diversity by bringing together international scholars with an interest in migration and diversity in the context of labor markets in Europe and the international setting. We are interested in papers on migration, equality and diversity from all areas of the world. We welcome papers highlighting the importance of change in organizations and society for a better inclusion of migrants and ethnic minorities in the workplace. Change possibilities include combating discrimination against migrants through organizational and state level interventions, valuing and developing migrants' social, cultural, and economic capitals, fostering an ethnically diverse workforce, offering governmental support for migrants and their families, and offering better support to organizations willing to hire migrants. Such changes can result in enhanced societal and organizational outcomes in the context of our diverse societies.
We encourage contributions from scholars from a broad range of disciplines: organization studies, management, human resource management, psychology, gender studies, sociology, politics, and economics. We invite papers that investigate the interplay between diversity and migration at different levels of analysis such as individual, organizational and societal levels as well as studies that explore migration and diversity at more than one level. We welcome studies of single countries and comparative research.
