Accepting proposals for the 2011-2012 Reaching Out MBA Case Writing Competition.  Short proposals due by December 16.

Participating in the Reaching Out MBA Case Writing Competition gives you the opportunity to

    - Effect change in the classroom and in the business world

    - Connect with business people and companies and build business relationships

    - Receive up to $5,000 for your efforts

    - Add to your portfolio with a strong piece of research and writing

    - Be involved with an organization of MBA students from around the world -- nearly a thousand of whom gathered for the 2011 conference.

This year, Reaching Out MBA will fund (with $1,500 stipends) the development of up to six business cases that focus on LGBT workplace issues.  And we'll select one finished case for its overall excellence and award its author (or team of authors) an additional $3,500.

Students (including PhD candidates), alumni, and faculty associated with accredited MBA programs throughout the world can participate-as individual authors or as teams.

To enter, submit a very brief (no more than 500 word) proposal by December 16.  Your proposal need only describe your idea for a case and your plan for developing it into a finished case, which you will do if you are awarded a Research Stipend.

Get a copy of competition guidelines at caselibrary@reachingoutmba.org.

PS-You might be able to arrange for school credit for their participation in the Case Writing Competition-and some schools even fund case development!
