CALL FOR FACULTY PRESENTERS
Dear GDO Members,
Each summer, The PhD Project Management Doctoral Students Association (MDSA) holds a conference in conjunction with the Academy of Management Meeting. All expenses for minority doctoral student members are covered to attend the MDSA conference and the AOM meeting allowing our members to network with leading academics in our field and receive invaluable support, encouragement and insights. Many of our members have stated that without this support, they would not have made it through their doctoral programs. In fact, The PhD Project Doctoral Students Association conferences have resulted in a 92% program completion rate for minority doctoral students. This is in large part due to the contributions of knowledgeable faculty like you who share your time, skills and expertise with our students helping them to successfully navigate through their doctoral programs.
This year, the 16th Annual MDSA Conference will be held over 2 1/2 days from Wednesday, August 1, 2012, 3 p.m. through Friday, August 3, 2012, 10 p.m. at the Fairmont Copley Hotel, in Boston, MA. We would like to invite all faculty to consider presenting at this year’s conference where we will also be celebrating the 15 year anniversary of the MDSA as an organization. If you are interested in presenting, please refer to the attached agenda for the list of sessions being offered at the conference.
