---------------
Greetings colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that the fifth Workplace Diversity: Practice & Research conference will be held June 22-23, 2012, at the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel, on George Mason University's Fairfax campus. The theme for the 2012 conference is Diversity Culture & Climate. The purpose of this annual conference is to bridge the research-practice gap. Conference participants will include academics (researchers and teachers), independent diversity professionals (e.g., consultants and trainers), corporate diversity professionals (executives, managers, contributors), and military diversity professionals. You can learn more about the conference at http://som.gmu.edu/diversity.
We are using an open submission process to select the sessions, so if you think you might like to lead a session, please see the RFP on the conference website. There is a very short fuse on submissions - they are due by March 26. Even if you do not want to present, I hope you will plan to join us. Also, I would be grateful if you could forward this message to any individuals or listservs that you think might be interested.
Hoping to see you on June 22-23, I am most sincerely yours,
David Kravitz
