Rank is at the assistant professor level. Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources or a related field and have a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching.

We are seeking candidates who are developing and maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession. We welcome applicants from a wide range of theoretical and disciplinary perspectives and are especially interested in applicants whose research interests include human resource management. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.

The Sauder School of Business is part of the University of British Columbia (UBC). UBC attracts a high quality, diverse student body. UBC is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which often tops lists of best

    were hosted) and Seattle, Washington.

Subject to budgetary approval, the position starts July 1, 2015. UBC hires on the basis of merit and is committed to employment equity. We encourage all qualified persons to apply. We welcome applications from members

of visible minority groups, women, Aboriginal persons, persons with disabilities, persons of minority sexual orientations and gender identities, and others with the skills and knowledge to engage productively with diverse

communities. However, Canadians and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority. Information regarding hiring is available on our website at: http://www.sauder.ubc.ca/Faculty/People/Faculty_Openings.

Interested applicants should email: (1) a cover letter describing their research interests, (2) a curriculum vitae, (3) two research papers, (4) a record of teaching evaluations (if applicable), and (5) three letters of reference to: Nancy Tang, OBHRrecruiting@sauder.ubc.ca, Sauder School of Business, UBC. Alternatively, applications can be mailed to: Nancy Tang, Administrative Assistant, Sauder School of Business, The University of British  Columbia, 2053 Main Mall, Vancouver, BC Canada V6T 1Z2.

Review of applications will commence on October 15, 2014 and will continue until the position is filled. Questions about these positions should be addressed to Associate Professor Danielle van Jaarsveld at vanjaarsveld@sauder.ubc.ca.
