The impact factors for Human Resource Management Review (HRMR) and Journal of
Managerial Psychology (JMP) were recently reported for 2011.
The HRMR impact factor is 2.379.
The one year JMP impact factor is 1.25, but the five year impact factor is 2.33.
The number of citations for these journals fell slightly during 2011. However,
both journals have very reputable impact factors, and rankings in the fields of
HR and OB.
It merits noting that JMP has also changed its focus to social issues including gender,
diversity, age, unfair discrimination, workplace bullying, job loss, ethnic power and privilege, etc.
We believe that many of these topics deserve more attention in our field, and I hope you
will submit your articles on social issues to the journal.
