Human Resource Management (2 positions)
Applications are invited for two positions in Human Resource Management at
the rank of Assistant Professor, effective July 1, 2013. Applicants must
have a PhD (or near completion) in Human Resource Management or a related
area (with a defence date no later than July 1, 2013). Applicants must
also have an active research program in Human Resource Management, and
demonstrated excellence or the promise of excellence in teaching and
research. The area of specialization is open, although preference for one
appointment will be in the area of Industrial Relations and/or Labour and
Employment Law. Applicants should be prepared to teach a range of
undergraduate courses and to contribute to the graduate program.
The successful candidates must be suitable for prompt appointment to the
Faculty of Graduate Studies. Salaries will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience. All York University positions are subject
