Renewable Term Instructor
Department of Management
A renewable term appointment for an Instructor of Management is available for August 2013. The successful candidate's duties will include but are not limited to teaching up to four sections per semester and may be a combination of Organizational Management, Organizational Behavior, Project Management, Leadership, Human Resource Management and similar classes at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as substantial service responsibilities assigned by the dean and/or the department head. The successful candidate may also be involved in course coordination, student recruitment, advising, and retention activities. Applicants will find a collegial work environment at UNI. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in management or related field from an AACSB accredited university; record of excellence in university teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level; evidence of innovative teaching; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; research in management-related journals; and a record sufficient to meet College of Business Administration and AACSB requirements for initial academic or professional qualification as well as evidence that the qualification will be maintained. Preferred qualifications include research in management-related teaching journals; business and/or consulting experience in the area of organizational behavior; and active participation in appropriate professional associations.
