Are you a doctoral student or junior faculty member who looking to find meaning, fulfillment and happiness in your career (while actually maintaining employment)?
Would you like to get sage advice and talk it over with people who have done so in a variety of different ways?
Then join us at either of two half-day PDW sessions intended to encourage participants to take a step back, to think about their purpose and place in the field so that they that might increase their personal/professional satisfaction. We do this with the mindset that one size definitely does not fit all. And we have brought together some very thoughtful and engaging scholars to help you find your path.

The academic life provides scholars incredible freedom and incredible stresses. It can be easy to lose sight of why we entered academia in the first place, and more broadly what we hope to contribute to the field and want out of this career. We offer these PDWs to help people stay on target.
Please feel free to send this to any junior faculty or students that you think might be interested, we are trying to be as inclusive as possible with these PDWs.
