We encourage members of all Academy divisions and interest group to submit workshop proposals that explore international dimensions of management theory and practice. If your PDW addresses the diversity and complexity in today’s global environment – it is likely well suited to International Theme Committee (ITC) sponsorship. We are seeking interactive and innovative workshops that support the ITC’s primary role: to help the Academy become more truly international. Workshops well-suited to ITC sponsorship:
• Internationalize the Academy as an organization.
• Help Academy members improve their understanding of the internationalization of business trade and other forms of organizational transactions.
• Encourage Academy members to become exposed to, or provide exposure for, organizational scholarship being conducted outside the U.S.
• Assist the membership committee in its charge to expand internationally and to integrate international members into the Academy.
• Encourage members to understand and apply different cultural perspectives and ideas within the Academy.
PDW sessions will be held prior to the AOM regular program from 8 a.m. on Friday August 09, through 8 p.m. on Saturday August 10, 2013. The submission deadline is January 15, 2013 at 5:00 PM EST (earlier submissions are strongly encouraged). All submissions must be sent via the AOM submissions system,
