The Department of Human Resource Management in the School of Management and Labor Relations is hiring for multiple positions with appointments to begin July, 2014. A Ph.D. in Human Resource Management or a related field is required for all positions. Applicants with expertise in the areas of Strategic Human Resource Management, International/Global Human Resource/Management, or Compensation will be given top priority. At least one appointment will be at the Full Professor level, with additional positions likely to be filled at the Assistant and/or Associate levels. Successful candidates for all positions should have work experience and/or business-related coursework that enable them to effectively demonstrate business understanding and develop the business acumen of our students. Senior-level candidates (Associate or Full Professor rank) must be willing to assume administrative roles. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled.

Full Professor
The Rutgers University Human Resource Management Department seeks to hire one Full Professor who is a world leader in the field. Candidates for this position should demonstrate a record of professional accomplishments commensurate with an appointment at the Full Professor level. Desirable candidates will be active scholars whose research has appeared in highly-regarded journal outlets and garnered international recognition. Additionally, applicants will be expected to demonstrate teaching proficiency and have a strong record of department, university, and professional service. Areas of expertise of particular interest to the department include Strategic Human Resource Management, International/Global Human Resources/Management, or Compensation. Assistant and Associate Professors
In addition to hiring at least one Full Professor, the Rutgers University Human Resource Management Department seeks to hire two additional faculty of unspecified (open) rank (i.e., Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level). Desirable candidates at the Associate Professor level will have published their research in top-tier management journals and will provide evidence of effective teaching skills. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level must demonstrate strong potential for success in a research-oriented university, with preference given to candidates who also have demonstrated teaching skills. Applicants with expertise in the areas of Strategic Human Resource Management, International/Global Human Resource/Management, or Compensation will be given top priority.
