Dear GDO Division Members,
On behalf of our Newsletter Editor, Payal Kumar, I am pleased to announce
that our Fall 2013 GDO Division newsletter is now accessible by clicking on

In the newsletter, our Scholarly Program and Professional Development
Workshop (PDW) Chairs detail for us the AOM 2014 theme and the Division's
call for submission process. Please pay particular attention to their
directions. Each member is encouraged to submit papers, symposia and PDW
proposals. Submission quality and quantity are critically important for a
successful program.
The Division's Volunteer Survey will be arriving to your email boxes soon.
Please review the volunteer opportunities and sign up to help!! Two
immediate areas of need are:
Website Manager: This position is responsible for updating and managing the
flow of information available on the Division's Website. The GDO Website
Manager will work with AOM staff with the integration of all division
websites to the AOM plat- form. HTML and Website Content Management System
experience is highly recommended. Our Division websites are a mix of older
HTML sites which we are current- ly migrating over to a newer CMS system
called 'Joomla'. In the future we will be using the same system as AOM.Org,
which is also a CMS. Assistance in managing the GDO website is available
from the AOM Website Liaison.
Newsletter Assistant Editor: This position works with the current
Newsletter Editor to provide pertinent information to our membership. This
is a two year commitment with the Assistant Editor moving into the Editor
role in the second year.
