    Dear all,

Let me take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year.

The Winter GDO newsletter (volume 16, issue 1) is due to be released in February. Please let us know if you have any contributions:

    - News about GDO member accomplishments (including your own) -- publications, tenure, awards, etc.

    - Calls for papers and conferences relevant to GDO members

Please take a look at the following link in case you want to refer to our previous issues.

You would need to submit your entries no later than January 26th  to payalk1@gmail.com (I would request that you put 'GDO newsletter submission' in your subject line).

I am delighted to welcome Ranjna Patel, who has joined us as the assistant newsletter editor. She will assist in producing all issues of volume 16, and will then take over as editor from next year (volume 17).

    With kind regards,

    Payal
