Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope that this finds you enjoying a bit of a breather after the passing of the submission deadline for the 2014 AOM conference! For program chairs, however, this marks the beginning of a very busy period as we check all the submissions, assign them to reviewers, and then ultimately build the 2014 conference program.
For those of you who have already registered to serve as a reviewer for the GDO division, THANK YOU!!! For those of you who have not yet volunteered to review for the GDO division, I would be so grateful if you could please do so now! The more volunteers we have, the better the match I'm able to make between reviewer expertise and submission content – that should help translate into better quality reviews for submitters, and therefore also a higher quality conference program. It also means that we can do a better job of spreading the work load so that each reviewers is responsible for fewer papers.
