Dear Colleagues:
I'm just sending a quick message to let you know that the location for the Gender and Diversity in Organizations sessions at the upcoming Academy of Management meeting in Philadelphia has been announced. Our Program Chair, Lisa Niishi, was kind enough to share this information with the Executive Committee and we want to share it with all of you so that you can make reservations early.
The GDO sessions will be held in the Loewe's Philadelphia hotel. I stayed there for the December AOM Board meeting. It was under renovation at the time, but the renovations will be complete by the time of the conference and will make for a better overall experience. I think you will find this hotel to be very nice and very accommodating. It is also well-located within the downtown area.
The location will be posted on the website and there is always information about local attractions available through the conference website. But it's important to get reservations in early, as the hotels seem to sell out earlier every year!
