    Dear colleagues,

With apologies for cross-postings, my colleagues Shaun Pichler, Beth Livingston, Arup Varma and Pawan Budhwar, would like to ask if anyone is organizing a symposium for SIOP on either diversity or social exchange. We have a cross-level paper that looks at how supervisor and subordinate perceptions of support, similarity and social exchange, as well as performance, are influenced by demographic differences at the dyadic- and group-levels of analysis. Our data are from Dubai, which provides a unique and rich context in terms of high levels of variability in country of origin and thus variability in deep- and surface-level diversity. We also measure multiple aspects of social exchange from different respondent perspectives, namely relative LMX, LMX differentiation and supervisor perceptions of organizational support.

    Thank you.

    Best,

    Andrew Yu
