One of my undergraduate researchers is conducting an IRB approved study on violence in the LGBTQ community.
The disproportionately high rates of interpersonal violence within the gay, lesbian, and bisexual communities is of great concern, yet little research has been conducted at this point on the topic. Kenda Ruck is my student who is conducting research in an effort to flag some early warning signs or perhaps identify areas in which intervention might prevent these situations from ever occurring. To do so, she needs a large participant pool from the lesbian, gay, and bisexual population.
I have attached a flier with information on how to link in to my IRB approved research study. Thank you for passing this information along to faculty, staff, and students who may be interested in participating.
