  • 1.  Call for Presenters: AOM Symposium on How Women Attain Senior Leadership Positions

    In preparing for the 2015 Academy of Management Conference, we would like to organize a Presenter Symposium Proposal on the topic of How Women Attain Senior Leadership Positions.  Papers are invited on topics such as:

     

    ·         predictors of career success

    ·         process of career development

    ·         barriers and facilitators of women's leadership achievement

    ·         development of an effective leadership style such as authentic leadership

    ·         gender identity

    ·         gender power

    ·         impact of organizational factors on women in leadership 

     

    If you are interested in being part of this Symposium submission, please contact Alison M. Konrad at akonrad@ivey.uwo.ca with a title and 50-100 word abstract about your paper by December 20, 2015.  By the submission deadline of January 13, 2015, we will need a 2-5 page synopsis of EACH presentation, not including references, with a maximum of two additional pages of tables and figures, as required.
