    The Human Resources Management/Organizational Behaviour Department (http://hrmob.ryerson.ca/) at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University, in Toronto invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position will commence July 1, 2015, subject to final budgetary approval.

    Applicants will possess or be near completion (with a defense date set) of a PhD in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behaviour, or a closely related field. The successful candidate will have the ability to contribute to both our AACSB-accredited undergraduate (BComm) and graduate (MBA/MMSc) programs. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding research potential (e.g., evidence of an emerging scholarly record, ability to establish and maintain an independent, externally funded research program), evidence of high-quality teaching and student training at the graduate and undergraduate level, and a capacity for collaboration and collegial service.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to contribute to both our AACSB-accredited undergraduate (BComm) and graduate (MBA/MScM) programs. Candidates should demonstrate research potential (e.g., evidence of an emerging scholarly record, ability to establish and maintain an independent, externally funded research program), evidence of high-quality teaching and student training at the graduate and undergraduate level and a capacity for collaboration and collegial service. Preference will be given to applicants with a teaching and research record in teams, interpersonal communication or leadership. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to upholding the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion as it pertains to service, teaching, and scholarly, research or creative activities.

    The Human Resources Management/Organizational Behaviour department is closely affiliated with two research centres at Ryerson – The Centre for Labour-Management Relations and the Centre for Voluntary Sector Studies.
