  • 2.  New HR/OB position

    Posted 01-16-2015 08:11

[This announcement has been cross-listed with HR and OB Divisions]

The Michigan State University School of Human Resources & Labor Relations was recently authorized to begin recruiting for a tenure track assistant professor position in HR/OB. As the attached position description indicates, we are broadly considering applicants with interests and expertise in HRM, organizational behavior, organizational development and change management, business and HR strategy, and HR metrics. Faculty with workplace diversity-related research interests are likely to fit in one or  more of these areas – and would be very welcome.  Because the approved position is at the assistant professor level, we are particularly interested in: 1) doctoral students who were not prepared to go on the job market last fall, but now are; and 2) individuals who graduated in the past several years who, due to the job market, may have been "underplaced" and are now looking for a position with less teaching responsibilities and more time for research.  If you know anyone who fits the foregoing description, we would very much appreciate it if you could provide the person the attached position description, or provide us her/his name and we will provide them a copy of the description. Contact information is provided on the attached position description.
