Dear GDO members,
On Monday I started the check-in process and the noncompliance rate on the first 30 papers submitted was about 60%. I kid you not.
The most common problems were:
Formatting errors with headings. Please look at the AMJ style guideline which specifies a particular format for each level heading.
Omitted pagination
Missing or incorrectly located submission numbers (which go in the upper right corner)
Less common but something to watch for:
Figures can be corrupted when a paper is saved as a pdf. Review your figures.
If you have not uploaded yet, please give your submissions another look. Even if you have already uploaded, please review your original documents to see if they are compliant. Although there will be heavy traffic on the last day, you should still be able to replace any noncompliant document.
