The Department of Management at St. Cloud State University is looking to hire a fixed-term (one year) Instructor or Assistant Professor of Management for AY 2015-2016. The primary responsibility of the position is to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in Human Resource Management, Employee Labor Relations, and Employee Compensation.
Candidates must have an MBA, a Masters' degree, or be an ABD in Human Resource Management, Industrial and Labor Relations, or a related field from an AACSB accredited business school. Candidates must also be able to teach and work effectively with students, departmental colleagues, and others from culturally diverse backgrounds in the university and business community. Preference will be given to candidates with 1) a Ph.D./DBA in Management, Human Resource Management, Industrial and Labor Relations, or related field from an AACSB accredited university, 2) previous teaching experience at a post-secondary institution with solid evidence of teaching effectiveness, and 3) industry experience.
