    Organizational Behavior
    Department of Management

    Pending budgetary approval, the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate position in Organizational Behavior to begin Fall 2016. Individuals with secondary expertise in Human Resources are especially encouraged to apply as well as those with interests spanning other areas (e.g., strategy, international management, and information systems) in the Department. Candidates are expected to have outstanding research and teaching credentials or demonstrated potential. The position requires an earned doctorate in the management discipline before the initial appointment. Teaching opportunities include advanced undergraduate, graduate, and executive courses. Salary and research support are competitive.

The Kansas City metropolitan area is also well known for its reasonable cost of living, enriched quality of life, financially supportive donors, and excellent elementary and secondary school options. The greater Kansas City area has all of the amenities expected of an outstanding metropolitan area, including professional sports teams and world-class arts organizations.

    UMKC enrolls approximately 15,000 students. The Bloch School has almost 1,900 students, more than 50 full-time faculty, and excellent technology resources. The School offers instruction at the undergraduate, graduate, executive, and doctoral levels. Its business and public administration programs are accredited by AACSB International and NASPAA, respectively.
