Hi, everyone,
I'm attaching a recent syllabus from a course that I teach (to undergraduates). There is obviously a lot out there on the subject of women and leadership. I try to discuss various external influences that I personally believe have an effect on the leadership style of women in organizations. The topics of leadership, negotiation, work/family and pay are all deeply intertwined, in my opinion, which makes teaching about them challenging and also interesting.
I've had a lot of success with the short story assignment, so I'm attaching a description of that as well.
Best,
Janet
Dear Sisters and Brother:
One of my colleagues is teaching an MBA gender and culture differences in leadership course next semester for the first time. Do you know any very good articles that can be the cornerstone of the course? And, if you teach such a course, would you mind sharing your syllabus?
Thanks much,
dt
