    Position Announcement

Department of Management and Organizations Stern School of Business

    New York University

The Department of Management and Organizations at the Stern School of Business, New York University, is looking to hire a post-doctoral fellow for academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. Responsibilities include managing our behavioral lab and teaching a total of three 3-credit courses over the course of the two year appointment. Candidates should have their dissertation defended by August 2016 and must demonstrate strong potential in both research and teaching.

The post-doctoral fellow position provides an excellent opportunity for an emerging scholar to develop and extend their research program while gaining valuable teaching experience. Post-docs are highly encouraged to collaborate with departmental faculty and graduate students, to benefit from several speaker series, and to draw from the wide variety of intellectual resources available at NYU Stern. The position may be particularly beneficial for individuals whose have done graduate work in a psychology department but are considering transitioning to a business school. However, all applicants who demonstrate strong promise are encouraged to apply, regardless of intellectual background.

The Management and Organizations Department at Stern is diverse and inter-disciplinary, and has long been recognized for its research and scholarship. It consistently ranks among the top schools in terms of research productivity in leading journals. In addition to our strong relationships with the other departments and centers at Stern, we maintain close ties with NYU's Department of Psychology.

The Stern School of Business is recognized internationally as one of the world's most prestigious graduate and undergraduate business schools. Located in the heart of Greenwich Village in New York City, Stern has an internationally diverse faculty and student body.  More information on Stern can be found at www.stern.nyu.edu.

Applicants should send their curriculum vitae, three letters of reference, samples of scholarly work, and teaching evaluations. Materials will be evaluated on a rolling basis. Applications submitted by January 15, 2016 will be given full consideration. Application materials should be submitted via Interfolio at:  http://apply.interfolio.com/33142
