    Greetings,

I am preparing a presentation on Microagressions and Emotional Intelligence and Inclusion. I am looking for suggestions for movie or TV clips that I can use to stimulate conversations.

    I appreciate any recommendations!

    Ilene,

Master of None – a show available on Netflix has an episode called 'ladies and gentlemen' and another one called 'Indians on TV' that show stereotyping and microagressions.

    Hi Ilene,

Fascinating topic. the movie Dear White People is a great one that deals with microagressions.  Also, if you do a YouTube search for that title you will find some very good short clips.

Superstore just had an episode that had examples of stereotyping/microaggressions. It's episode 3 "Shots and Salsa." The episode is available to stream on NBC.com: http://www.nbc.com/superstore/video/shots-and-salsa/2943541?onid=248711#vc248711=1 if you would like to preview it first.

    Dear Ilene,
While you might have to cut and splice, as it contains content that may be deemed too raunchy for the classroom, almost all of the latest season of South Park (Season 19, Airdates: September 16, 2015 - December 9, 2015) pointedly highlighted and commented on microaggressions. As the town struggled to evolve with the times (especially with the arrival of a Whole Foods store!) and become politically correct, mayhem ensued. All episodes are available on Hulu, with the most recent ones' temporarily streaming for free.
    Sincerely,
