The Culverhouse College of Commerce at the University of Alabama invites applications for anticipated openings in tenure track faculty positions in Human Resource Management at the rank of Assistant Professor effective August 16, 2016.
The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate classes in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and PhD level classes in research methodology and quantitative methods. The candidate will publish research in the field's leading national journals and engage in service activities within the College and University as deemed appropriate for an individual at the rank of assistant professor.
Minimum qualifications: Completed PhD, or equivalent diploma, or ABD (with evidence of completion by August 16, 2016) in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or closely related area such as Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Candidate must have teaching experience and show potential to conduct high quality research.
Preferred qualifications: Evidence of teaching excellence; experience teaching courses in Human Resource Management; demonstrated ability to place research in top Management, Human Resource, or Organizational Behavior journals; industry experience; and grant writing experience.
Salary is competitive.
