Title : Religious diversity at work: considering critical issues for employees and managers in Australian workplaces Abstract: In the context of increasing attention to religious coexistence in France and in Europe, this presentation will nurture our reflection as scholars, practitioners and decision-makers on issues, challenges and responses elaborated in a country that is home to one of the most religiously and culturally diverse populations in the world.
Biography: Professor Lucy Taksa commenced her appointment as Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Business and Economics on 1 January 2015 after five and a half years as Head of the Department of Marketing and Management. Previously she worked at the UNSW - University of New South Wales from 1992, where she was Head of the School of Organisation and Management and the first Associate Dean (Education) in the Faculty of Commerce and Economics between 2003 and 2006. During her time at UNSW she was Deputy Director of the UNSW Industrial Relations Research Centre from 1996 until 1999 and Director from 2000-2009. Following her appointment at Macquarie University she was invited to be Chair of the UNSW Industrial Relations Research Centre Advisory Committee.
