  • 1.  Racial Equity Consultant Needed

    I am on the board for the Pride Foundation (http://www.pridefoundation.org) based in Seattle, and we have been seeking a consultant that would be available to develop and implement a Racial Equity Cultural Competency plan with this LGBTQ organization.     Needs from Consultants


    1. Strategy Design – Develop and outline a strategy and structure for Pride Foundation's internal Racial Equity work, including:

      1. Conduct an organizational assessment to identify key areas and opportunities for implementing a racial equity lens and any outstanding needs that may exist at all levels of the organization

      2. Provide recommendations for goals, updates, and changes to processes and procedures to better integrate a racial equity lens within Pride Foundation

      3. Develop a plan (or plans) for implementing recommendations that includes specific goals, outcomes, and action plans for staff members


    1. Implementation Support – Provide guidance to staff and board as we carry out the outlined strategy to ensure full and effective implementation.

      1. Provide assistance to staff in carrying out individual action plans

      2. Provide ongoing feedback on implementation progress

      3. Help problem solve as challenges and changes emerge

      4. Provide or identify ongoing training needs and learning opportunities


    1. Executive Coaching – Facilitate Pride Foundation's board and staff executive teams in deepening their leadership on racial equity work both internally and externally.

      1. Ensure leadership is equipped to deal with challenges or conflicts that may arise within this work

      2. Support executive teams in their personal development as leaders within the organization on racial equity work
