    Dear colleague,

     

    The Leadership and Talent Institute at DCU Business School will host a workshop entitled "How to Publish in International High-Impact Management Journals: A Theoretical, Methodological and Practical Tool Kit for Doctoral Students and Early Researchers" on Tuesday, 15th of November 2016.

     

    The workshop is free to attend and kindly sponsored by the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies (SAMS). 

     

    The workshop aims to equip young researchers with a theoretical, methodological and practical tool kit provided by leading scholars in the field of Management, Human Resource Management, and Organisational Psychology and editors of top-tier journals.  Leading scholars in the field of Management/HRM/OP and editorial board members of top-tier journals will advise the participants on theoretical, methodological and practical issues in relation to publishing in international high-impact journals including:

    • Theory development and theory critiquing
    • Achieving impact through publication: An Editor's perspective
    • The Do's and Don's in the R&R process
    • Current Approaches in Management Research: Multilevel Theory and Multilevel Modelling

     

    The excellent speakers for the conference are:

    • Professor Sim Sitkin (Duke University, USA)
    • Professor David Collings (Dublin City University, Ireland)
    • Professor Jonas Lang (Ghent University, Belgium)
    • Professor Jeremy Dawson (Sheffield University, UK)
