"Made in Dagenham" 2010
A dramatization of the 1968 strike at the Ford Dagenham car plant UK, where female workers walked out in protest against sexual discrimination/equal pay.
"Suffragette" 2015
A British historical period drama film about women's suffrage in the United Kingdom, where Meryl Streep is Emmaline Pankhurst. Original footage of suffragette marches is included. Local story shows inequality at work; sexual harassment at work; inequality of pay; inequality in a marriage; in parenting rights etc etc.
