The International Management Division Junior Faculty Consortium (JFC) is designed for junior and early-career scholars who have defended their dissertations in the last 1–5 years and are actively building their academic careers in international management. The consortium provides a unique opportunity to engage with leading IM scholars from around the world in focused conversations on careers, research, publishing, teaching, and service.
Who Should Attend
- Junior faculty in the pre-tenure phase or comparable early-career positions, who have defended their dissertations in the last 1–5 years
- Scholars for whom international management is a primary or secondary field of inquiry
What to Expect
- Structured panel discussions with leading IM scholars on research strategy, publishing, teaching, and service
- Roundtable conversations on the challenges and opportunities of an academic career in international management
- Informal networking with peers at similar career stages and with established scholars across the field
Application
- Send you current academic resume and a two-page description of your research to the chairs, using “Application to the IM Division JFC” as the email title.
- Include questions or topics you would like to see included in the consortium in the body of your email.
