    Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to share the publication of the latest volume of Advances in Global Leadership. In addition to foundational research on global leadership and contributions to our Practitioner's Corner, Volume 16 places a particular focus on Addressing Society's Grand Challenges Through Global Leadership. Whether it is a global pandemic, far-ranging geopolitical crises and tensions, the resulting questions about the future of globalization, technological disruptions, climate change, inequality, or the need to grapple with increasingly daunting social issues, there is an urgent need for global leaders to initiate collective action. To that end, we were pleased to receive a blend of submissions that addressed both society's grand challenges and especially global ethics, as well as traditional research on global leadership.

Volume 16 also features a chapter reflecting our efforts to encourage more cross-sector understanding and research between global leadership and other fields of study. We selected respected authors from other fields and invited them to send us their reflections on the intersections between our fields. The essays provide a rich set of ideas and avenues for advancing our understanding of global leadership and connecting the domain with adjacent fields and disciplines. We believe that scholarly and managerial innovations derive exactly from such boundary-spanning activities, and we look forward to global leadership scholars taking up some of these pertinent questions as they embark on their future research.

We hope that you find Volume 16 as intriguing and thought-provoking as we did. Please share this in your own network.
