The Human Resources Division (HR) invites submissions for the 86th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM 2026) to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, 31 July to 4 August 2026.
The HR Division brings together the community of scholars and practitioners engaged in work that spans traditional HR practices and cutting-edge questions about the evolving employment landscape and the changing nature of work. We also encourage you to work with colleagues both within and outside of the HR Division in developing and submitting proposals. To learn more about the HR Division, please visit our website.
Please consider submitting a paper, symposium, poster, or professional development workshop (PDW) proposal that explores HR-related topics. All sessions will be hosted in-person on-site in Philadelphia. There is also a new On-Demand option to allow accepted presenters who are unable to attend in person to prerecord their presentation and share it with others through the secure online platform.
Please visit the Annual Meeting Website for more information and all your submission needs. The deadline for all submissions is Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 at 5:00PM ET (New York time).
We very much need your time and expertise to maximize the quality of our program, so please click here to sign up as a reviewer! Select the HR Division and topic codes that reflect your areas of expertise. We will ask you to review up to three submissions between mid-January and mid-February 2026, and to provide authors with thoughtful and constructive comments that are developmental in nature. The HR Division recognizes these collegial efforts with Best Reviewer Awards. Thank you in advance!
The HR Division offers two convention paper awards: the Best Convention Paper and Best Student Convention Paper. Each carries a US$500 stipend. More information about all of the HR Division awards can be found here.
