🚀 Roundtable 8 focuses on governance and innovation in the space economy-specifically, how contracts can enable creativity and manage risk in complex collaborations. This PDW, "Space Economy: Opportunities for Management Research" kicks off with an industry panel and continues with 12 dynamic roundtables, each pushing the frontier of management research in Space Economy.
We will explore:
🔹 What are the unique challenges of contracting for innovation in the space domain?
🔹 How are the roles of governments and universities evolving in the space innovation ecosystem?
🔹 What new organizational forms or governance approaches might support complex, multi-party innovation?
🔹 How can governance frameworks accommodate dual-use technologies and national security concerns?
🔹 What design elements sustain long-term cooperation across different actors and interests?
